I have a Master’s in Clinical Health Psychology, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I also have a number of additional certifications- check out the About Me tab. I am not a registered dietician or a licensed Physical Therapist
Many of my clients come to me wanting to lose weight- a large majority of them are under-eating so we typically need to reverse diet people before we can even address weight loss. I will not placing you in a deep caloric deficit to achieve weight loss that will compromise your long term health. If you’re interested in short-term dieting, I am not the coach for you. If you’re interested in improving your relationship with food and learning how your nutrition choices can support you and your lifestyle, I am definitely the coach for you :):)
It depends. If you are currently struggling with an eating disorder, you definitely need to be under the care of a physician and a therapist. If it’s appropriate, I can work in conjunction with your medical team to make sure that we put together a good plan for you.
Hell yessss. My research in graduate school was focused on women’s body image and I am very passionate about helping people develop a more loving and caring relationship with their body and with their body image.
